General Information
The Italian Department is launching an Accelerated Master’s degree program that will allow qualified B.A. students to complete an M.A. degree by extending their studies through a fifth year! Students will maintain their undergraduate status during their fourth year and will access graduate status in the fifth year, completing all of the requirements for the M.A. in Italian Studies program more quickly than in the normal program.
The standard M.A. is a four-semester, 30-credit course of study culminating with a dissertation. The requirements for the Accelerated degree will be the same as those for the standard Master’s program, but they may be satisfied more quickly leading to the completion of an M.A. at the end of the fifth year of study.
