ITAL-1042 Gateway to Italian Culture 

Course Description

This course is designed to guide students through a close study of major Italian works, from Dante to Primo Levi. It aims to provide a critical overview of literary and cultural movements that have shaped the discipline of Italian Studies. While Italian majors are strongly encouraged to take this course during their first year, the course is entirely taught in English and is open to anybody with an interest in Italian culture.
