The Study Abroad Exam takes place twice a year (usually in September and February).
The Study Abroad Exam consists of two sessions
Language Skill Test Session
In the First session, students are tested on listening comprehension, grammar, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
Oral Interview
In the Second session, they are tested on their oral skills through an interview with two professors from the department. The interview focuses on a variety of topics, such as personal connections to Italy, family, routine, studies, and interests. Students are normally ready to take this exam after they have completed Intensive Advanced Italian II.
