Congratulations to Laura Benedetti for her Nomination as one of Noiaw's Wise Women!

Each year the National Organization of Italian American Women (NOIAW) selects three women who have excelled in their respective professional fields to be recognized for their accomplishments at an annual Epiphany celebration.

This year’s cohort also includes Carol Acinapura Trawick, President of Trawick Foundation and Anita Botti, Chief of Staff and Principal Deputy at the Office of Global Women’s Issues in the Department of State.

In the words of Diana Fernia, President of the Greater Washington DC Region of NOIAW, this nomination acknowledges Laura’s stature as a scholar and her tireless activity as Chair of the Georgetown’s Italian Department to promote Italian culture in the U.S.
