Camilleri’s Languages
On Thursday, October 16th the Department of Italian and the Italian Cultural Institute hosted Camilleri’s Languages, an event featuring the presentations of professors Gianni Cicali and Anna de Fina.

The event featured a presentation in celebration of the birthday of Andrea Camilleri, renowned Italian author of Inspector Montalbano. The discussion began with a presentation by Professor Gianni Cicali (Florence, Italy), who spoke about Camilleri’s theatrical career, followed by a presentation by Professor Anna De Fina, exploring Andrea Camilleri’s distinctive use of dialect throughout his texts.
